Aisling Bea
Aisling B a is born on 16 March, 1984. She was born in Kildare Ireland. Bea has appeared on QI together with Stephen Fry. Aisling Cliodhnadh Sullivan (born on March 16, 1984) is also known as Aisling bea she is an Irish comedian, writer and actress. Bea's career began in the year 2011 when she began her career as a comic after appearing in small parts on Irish and British television shows beginning in 2009. In 2012, she began appearing on a variety of sketches and sitcoms. In 2012, after winning an award at the Edinburgh Comedy Awards she began to appear regularly on various panel shows where she is now a regular. She was a captain of the 8 Out of 10 Cats team from 2016 to 2017 and was regularly a contestant on the spinoff show, 8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown. Her parents include Brian as well as Helen O'Sullivan. She has an older sister named Sinead. In 2012, she became the second woman ever to receive the So You Think You Are Funny Award. The surname of Bea is in honor of her father who passed away. Aisling Cliodhnadh O'Sullivan was born in Kildare town County Kildare on 16 March 1984. Bea's father Brian, an equine vet who committed suicide when Bea turned three was the sufferer of self-harm. The news of his suicide only after 13 years old. She adopted the stage name Bea to pay tribute to her father. She also wrote an article for The Guardian in 2017 about her family's experience of suicide. Bea as well as her sister Sinead were nurtured by their mother Helen (nee Moloney) an elementary school teacher and jockey trainer, as well as a an ex-professional jockey. Their family was fascinated by horses and race meetings. Bea started out as a tourist guide at the Irish National Stud. But she quickly realized that her love was performing and not racing.
